ACADEMIC YEAR(2007-2008)
•    On 27.7.2007 a programme on IT Trends and career oppurtunities for all the UG and PG students was conducted by Ms.J.Deepa Lakshmi,Cognizant Technologies,Chennai.
•    On 09.08.2007 and 10.08.2007 two days workshop on soft skill for the outgoing student s was conducted  by prof.G.Ravindran,Dr.M.Joseph Irudhayaraj, Dr.K.Alex St.Joseph college,trichy were the resource persons.
•    On 17.11.2007 a programme on Emerging Trends in IT  for all the UG and PG students was conducted by  Mr.Ganesh Karunakaran,software engineer., Satyam computers,Chennai.
•    On 22.02.2008 a state level seminar on mobile computing for all the UG and PG students  was conducted  by Dr.Albert Roberra,Prof D.Ravindran,St.Joseph college,trichy were the resource persons.
